Our Mission

To serve and glorify our Father in heaven through obedience to His commands found in the Holy Scriptures.  To seek and save the lost by delivering the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

About Our Congregation

"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these thing will be added unto you".
(Matthew 6:33)

We are the Seagoville church of Christ.  We are an active congregation of the Lord's church located in Seagoville, Texas.  We strive to practice pure and simple New Testament Christianity as was practiced in the first century.  We have no head except Christ (Colossians 1:18) and no creed book except for the Bible (2 Peter 1:3).  We believe that if we will do what the saints of the first century did, we will become what they were; Christians and only Christians. (Acts 11:26)  Our local congregation began in January of 1935.  In 1937 our first building was constructed. Since that time, several additions and modifications have been made to the property.  Currently, our average Sunday attendance is 300.  We expect to see continued growth in the future as the Lord continues to bless us.

We are located in Seagoville, Texas

Just 15 minutes southeast of Dallas just off US 175.

At Seagoville, we offer many opportunities to be involved in the Lord's church.  During our worship services, we sing praises to God (Ephesians   5:19), commune with the Body and Blood of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:23-28), offer prayers to God (Acts 2:42), give of our means (1 Corinthians 16:1-4), and study God's word. (Acts 20:7)

We are concerned with the Family.  Much of what we teach is designed to nurture and give strength to the family unit.  We have an excellent Bible class program for all ages.  Our teachers are excellent.  From adult level down through nursery age, we offer a variety of textual and topical classes.  Our youth curriculum is designed to take a student through the Bible at least twice during the course of their school days.

We also have a very active program for senior citizens.  We have a group known as the "55-n-Better" that meets each month.  Our widows and widowers group plans monthly activities.

As you can see we have a lot to offer.
