“For God so loved [the people of Belgium] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
The Kingdom of Belgium is located in Western Europe. France, Germany, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands are bordering countries. Belgium has a population of more than 11 million. Its capital and largest city is Brussels. Belgium’s official languages are Dutch, French, and German. The national motto is: “Unity makes strength.”
Our prayer today is for the people of Belgium to unite in the conviction that there is one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father (Eph. 4:4-6).
