Speaking the Truth in Love

Bolivia

bolivia“For God so loved [the people of Bolivia] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

The Plurinational State of Bolivia is a landlocked country in western-central South America. Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, and Peru are bordering countries. Bolivia has a population of about 11 million. Its capital is Sucre. The largest city in the country is Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Bolivia’s primary language is Spanish. The national motto is: “Unity is strength.”

Our prayer today is that the Bolivian people will honor the unity prayer of Jesus: “I do not pray for these [apostles] only, but also for those who are to believe in me through their word, that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 17:20-21).
