Speaking the Truth in Love

Congo Kinshasa

Map DR Congo“For God so loved [the people of Congo Kinshasa] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

The Democratic Republic of the Congo (located in Central Africa) is one of the largest countries in the world. Its estimated population is almost 82 million. West Congo, the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, and Angola are neighboring countries. The Congo’s capital and largest city is Kinshasa. The official language of Congo Kinshasa is French. The national motto is: “Justice, peace, work.” Today we pray that the Congolese people will receive the peace that “passes all understanding,” the peace found in Christ alone (Phil. 4:7).
