“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the pOint of death, even the death of the cross.” (Philippians 2:5-8) That Jesus made the choice to_ leave a perfect existence in the beauty and bliss of heaven to live upon the ea~h for a time is … amazing to think about. } Now think about this: Jesus could have come as a rich. powerful ruler, but instead chose the life of {he common man. And He was also tempted in every way as we are and yet remained sinless (Hebrews 4:15). He then bore the guilt of our sins in great humiliation upon the cross f. all for us (1 Peter 2:24). It’s all amazing to think. But the most amazing thing to think about~ this: Jesus ~ became like us so that we could become like Him {l John 3~2). He died for us; let’s live for him and we wi!I 1ave amazing things to think about for eternity.
