Speaking the Truth in Love

The Republic of Indonesia is in Southeast Asia. Situated between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific, it is the largest island country in the world (with more than 13,000 islands). Indonesia shares land borders with Malaysia, Timor-Leste, and Papua New Guinea. Indonesia has an estimated population of more than 255 million, making it the fourth most populous country on earth. . Its capital and largest city is Jakarta.

The country’s official language is Indonesian. The national motto is: “Unity in diversity.” Islam is the predominant religion. Today we pray that every Indonesian will see Jesus with unveiled eyes: “In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God” (2 Cor. 4:4).
